A Bit About Me

Minyuo (Anthony) Huang is a multifaceted artist whose journey from law school to the world of tattooing reflects a deep-rooted passion for creativity and personal expression. Initially studying law, Anthony found inspiration in the artistic realm, prompting a shift toward the world of art. This new path led to rigorous studies in both the theory and practical aspects of art, alongside a dedication to music theory, piano, and drum kit, all of which further nurtured a love for creative expression across multiple mediums.

The transition into tattooing became a natural progression, blending Anthony's passion for visual artistry with an intrinsic desire to leave a lasting impact. With a keen eye for detail and an unyielding commitment to craft, Anthony pursued tattooing with fervor, honing skills that now define the artistic vision behind every piece created.

Together with Jacqueline Nel, Anthony founded Inkgenics, a tattoo studio built on the foundation of shared passion, expertise, and a vision to push the boundaries of the tattoo world. With a goal to not only be a leading tattoo artist but also to elevate Inkgenics into a globally renowned studio, Anthony strives to inspire and elevate the art of tattooing, pushing for innovation, precision, and unparalleled creativity.

Driven by the ambition to become one of the greatest artists of this generation, Anthony continues to explore new horizons within the tattoo world, constantly seeking to expand and elevate the studio’s reputation globally, while ensuring each client’s vision is honored with the highest level of artistic integrity and care.

My Craft

Focused and Proficient Tattoo Styles

  • Geometric – Tattoos made of clean, symmetrical patterns, lines, and shapes, often involving mandalas, sacred geometry, and abstract designs.

  • Black & Grey – Tattoos done entirely in shades of black and grey, often focusing on shading and fine detail, suitable for realism, portraits, and intricate designs.

  • Minimalist – Simple, clean designs with limited color, usually using fine lines and negative space to create elegant, understated pieces.

  • Script/Lettering – Focused on words or phrases, using creative fonts and elegant scripts, sometimes incorporating ornamental designs.

"The world is indeed comic, but the joke is on mankind. Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. Almost nobody dances sober, unless they happen to be insane."
