A Bit About Me
Sayuran [Say] Naidoo, is a proficient tattoo artist based at the studio Inkgenics located in Edenvale Gauteng, his passion for his work comes from creating unique, custom art that reflects the design language that stems from his passion for art. With a background in Fine Art having attended the university of Witwatersrand, a multifaceted artist specializing in the paint and graffiti medium, his experience in the art space as well as having been in the tattoo industry for over two years now, has led him in that time to cultivate a skillset as a honed craft, constantly learning and evolving to bring his credentials forth for as a reflection of his work as an artist.

His style blends a number of genres together to form dreamlike qualities and focuses on the surreal and minimal aspects of art and real world imagery together banding a focus on surrealism. When working with clients in order to bring their visions to life whether it’s a bold statement piece or something deeply personal and meaningful, being collaborative in this space is an essential part of the vision tattoo artists are required to bring forth in order to create a unique piece which would last the test of time.

Tattoos are more than just ink or an image on skin—they’re a form of self-expression, a piece of art, and a lasting memory that signifies a point in your life.
Taking a lot of inspiration from shapes and matter that exist in nature is the rationale he uses for his work, secular as well as non secular geometrical imagery form an inspiration for the basis of the art that he focus on creating, how the real world blends with that of one that exists in our imagination making them something surreal, and is that of a reflection that is in his work.

As a form of self expression, the process of getting a tattoo as well as being an artist is an occupation that has dated back thousands of years and something that his dedication to will continue to preserve as a practice.
